It is the most comprehensive golf collection in Britain, and one of the finest worldwide, celebrating golf from grass roots to international level. The entire collection is a Recognised Collection of National Significance.
Over 16,000 items cover equipment, prizes, decorative art, film, photographs, and archives. The collections are categorised as Club Life, Early Professional Golf, the Role Clothing Plays in Golf, Great Open Champions, the Leading Amateurs, Olympic Golf, Origins of Golf, the International Game, the Royal and Ancient Game, the Grand Old Man of Golf, Tools of the Trade and finally Winning in Style.
