The picturesque setting of the River Forth and Ochil Hills attracts thousands of visitors each year to the Airth Highland Games as well as being renowned for their unique and friendly atmosphere.
The Games have the traditional highland flavour with lads and lassies showcasing their skills in the Highland Dancing as well as much huffing and puffing to perform the perfect Highland melody in the Solo Piping. Heavy athletic events attract big strong men to Toss the Caber and other feats of strength while fleet footed runners and fast peddling cyclists vie to be first past the tape. Should you be feeling energetic you can enter their local Smiddy Stane Challenge and/or the famed Tug-O-War.
There is much for the whole family with children’s entertainment, craft stalls, local foods, refreshment tents and a fairground.
