After a multi million pound refurbishment the museum has become Scotland’s busiest visitor attraction, displaying 20,000 objects across 36 galleries, with new galleries still being opened. Look out for the unveiling of the latest this summer with galleries “dedicated to excellence and innovation in decorative art, design, fashion, science and technology”. New acquisitions, much loved favourites and treasures, never before exhibited, will adorn the new innovative galleries.
