Hidden 100 ft beneath an innocent Scottish farmhouse lies Scotland’s Secret Bunker, the size of 2 football fields, built to help safeguard Scotland during the Cold War in the event of a nuclear attack.
See and explore the Bunker, the Command Centre, the Dormitories, a Broadcasting Centre, Chapel and surprise, surprise a CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) Room, providing a balanced and informative experience for visitors being an important part of the whole story.
During the Cold War the canteen was used by 300 personnel daily and it has been carefully preserved with many original features in today’s café.
