Dunfermline Golf Club, locally called Pitfirrane, invites you to play in the footsteps of King James I, VI of Scotland and Charles I as long ago as the 16th century. In keeping with its place as Scotland's ancient capital, Dunfermline's clubhouse is a 600 year old baronial home steeped in history but modernised to provide you with up-to-date facilities without losing the charm and mystery of your surroundings.
The course, highly ranked amongst its Fife peers, offers a challenge to the low handicap player while remaining very playable and a joy for golfers of all standards. Dunfermline’s parkland layout has an overall yardage of 6,121 yards, par 72 arranged in two loops of nine which end at the clubhouse. It's fairly unusual configuration of five par threes and five par fives keep the golfer on their toes right to the end of the round. Three of the par fives come in the last four holes while five of the eight par fours are doglegs, with four of them favouring a fade from the tee.
