The heart of the East Neuk Festival is classical chamber music. Also presented is world jazz, folk and electronica. In addition to the celebration of music, the festival team has commissioned for your enjoyment, films, exhibitions, art installations and literature events as well as guided walks.
The East Neuk Festival has grown, in size and stature, since the idea was spawned and came to fruition in 1999. Since then, the festival has hosted some of the world’s greatest artists and has steadily developed the range of its activities. Once artists come they often return, relishing the intimacy and close connection with the festival audience.
Each year sees new events, venues, and artists in the East Neuk along with new audience members discovering the Festival. Audiences have grown from around 700 in 2005 to an estimated 25,000, who annually enjoy our events and exhibitions.
