Blair Athol Distillery, founded in 1798, stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, Perthshire. Set in open moorland south of the town, in the foothills of the Grampian mountains, Blair Athol’s ancient source of water – the Allt Dour (in Gaelic “the burn of the otter”) – flows through the grounds from the slopes of Ben Vrackie, contributing to the whisky’s, mellow quality and smooth finish.
They have a range of tours available. Choose the right one for youself by asking is the tour on offer for 1) everyone or 2) for Blair Atholl fans or 3) for Connoisseurs or 4) seeking expert Advice and 5) even more expert advice or 6) for grain whisky experts or finally for 7) real whisky Experts?
